Chances of hailstorm along with rain in UP

Lucknow : Due to re-activation of Western Disturbance amid seasonal changes, there are chances of thunderstorms and hailstorm at some places in most parts of the state in the first week of March.
Atul Kumar Singh, senior meteorologist of the Zonal Meteorological Center, said that from Friday, strong winds at a speed of 30-40 km per hour and light to moderate rain along with thunderstorms are expected in western UP, which will occur intermittently. Will continue till March 3.
