Chain snatching incident, two miscreants were in the bike

Bilaspur. A case of chain snatching has come to light in broad daylight from Sakri police station area. Here, on the pretext of asking for the address by showing a photo to a woman, two youths riding a motorcycle carried out the incident of chain snatching. Sakri police have registered a complaint and started investigation in the matter.

This whole incident is of Sakri police station area. Damayanti Kaushik, a resident of Kathakoni Junapara village, does farming here. On May 25, she was going on foot from her house towards the big pond of the village at 11 am. Two youths riding a motorcycle near Talab Mod asked the woman her address and fled by pulling the chain from her neck. The woman kept shouting and the accused fled with the motorcycle. The price of the chain is said to be 30 thousand.

According to the woman, the age of the youth riding the motorcycle is between 25 and 30 years. Both the persons were wearing cloths around their mouths so that their faces could not be recognized. The stealing boy was wearing white shirt and jeans. After the incident, the woman came to her home and told all the things to the family, after which a case was registered at Sakri police station. At present, Sakri police is engaged in the search of unknown thieves.
