CG police caught the thief from Punjab, he had committed the crime in Jagdalpur

Jagdalpur. Jewellery worth more than Rs 5 lakh was stolen from an empty house near Palli Naka in Jagdalpur. After the incident, the police arrested the accused from Punjab. Stolen jewellery was also recovered from him. The accused youth has been sent to jail. The case is from Parapa police station area.

According to the information, the name of the youth is Mangal Singh alias Manga (37). He is a resident of village Tong in Amritsar in Punjab. He had come to Bastar for truck driving work. A few days ago, he raided an empty house near Palli Naka at night. He had done recce 2 days before the incident. After this, he entered the house to commit theft. He broke the lock of the house. Then he broke the locker of the cupboard kept inside the room and stole various gold jewellery. He absconded after the incident. When the house owner reached home, he saw the lock broken. The locker of the cupboard broken. The gold jewellery was stolen. After this, he lodged a report of theft in Parapa police station Bahut. As soon as the information about the case was received, the police registered an FIR.

Investigation was started. With the help of CCTV cameras and cyber cell installed in the area, the police reached the thief. On the other hand, after the instructions of the SP, a team of soldiers was sent to Punjab to catch the thief. Where he was living in a rented house in Tong village of Amritsar. Stolen jewelry was recovered from him. The soldiers caught the accused and brought him to Bastar.
