CG: Notice issued to agricultural input dealer on the instructions of the collector
Mahasamund. Mahasamund. As per the instructions of Collector Mahasamund Vinay Kumar Langeh and under the guidance of Deputy Director Agriculture F.R. Kashyap, the quality and sale process of agricultural inputs is being closely monitored in the district. In this sequence, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer Bhimrao Ghodeswar and Fertilizer Inspector Umesh Chandrakar inspected the establishments of private agricultural input sellers of Tumgaon area. During the inspection, the stock and price list of fertilizers, seeds and pesticides were not found displayed in many establishments, which is a violation of the prescribed rules. On this, an immediate show cause notice has been issued to the concerned sellers.
A time limit has been given to submit the reply. Collector Mr. Langeh has directed that the farmers of the district should be provided quality agricultural inputs and they should be saved from any kind of fraud or confusion, for this the inspection teams have been instructed to keep constant monitoring. Departmental inspectors and field staff have been warned that negligence will not be tolerated at any level. Also, clear instructions have been given to the operators of agricultural sales centers to display all the necessary documents, stock register, price list and sales receipts and ensure full compliance of the rules. In case of irregularities found, the license will be cancelled and strict action will be taken against them.
