CG NEWS: Two sisters died after being bitten by a krait snake

Janjgir Champa. Two sisters died due to the bite of a poisonous krait snake in the district. Both the sisters were sleeping on the floor of the house in Doomarpali village, dependent on buffaloes. The incident is from Pamgarh police station area.

According to the information, Ananya Jangde (16) and Deepti Jangde (19), both sisters, residents of Doomarpali, went to sleep on the floor of the house after eating dinner at 8 pm on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a krait snake bit both of them. At around 11 pm, both of them started vomiting, then the family members were informed about the snake bite.

In a hurry, they were taken to Pamgarh CHC hospital for treatment at night. Where the doctor declared the younger sister Ananya Jangde dead after examination. At the same time, the elder sister Deepti Jangde was referred to Bilaspur. But she died on the way before reaching the hospital.

The Pamgarh police was informed about this incident. After which the police team reached the hospital. The postmortem of the bodies of both the girls was done on Wednesday. After that the body was handed over to the relatives.
