CG NEWS: Three officers did not attend the district panchayat meeting, notice issued

In the general meeting of the District Panchayat held after 6 months in Bilaspur, the members including Chairman Arun Singh Chauhan expressed deep displeasure over the continuous absence of top officials. It was decided to issue notice against them. These include EE PWD Bilaspur Division No. 2 Arvind Chaurasia, EE RES Gaurela and District Program Officer Women and Child Development Bilaspur Umakant Gupta. District Panchayat CEO RP Chauhan confirmed this. These officers are accused of continuously ignoring the meetings of the District Panchayat, over which the members expressed deep displeasure.

He said that despite the meeting being held after 6 months, the PWD officials are not coming, then another officer replied that the concerned officer has gone to the High Court. Members said that officers keep making excuses for not attending the Zila Parishad meeting.
Masthuri MLA representative Santosh Dubey raised the issue of dilapidated road of Jondhra-Vasantpur-Sonsari-Mukundpur and said that despite the decision to boycott voting in the elections, officers did not pay any attention to it.
