CG NEWS: Collision with courier vehicle, young man dies

Korba news. A bike rider died on the spot in a road accident near Barpali on Korba-Champa main road. A crowd of passersby gathered after the accident. The police have sent the body to the medical college for postmortem. The incident is from Urga police station area.

According to the information, Pratap Singh (24), a resident of Barpali, had gone out for some work. While returning home late Friday night, he had a head-on collision with a courier mini pickup. He died on the spot due to serious head injuries. ​​​​​​​The vehicle was going from Korba to Champa.

Brijesh, a relative of the deceased, said that Pratap Singh was originally from Dharamjaigarh district. He was living with his mother and younger sister in Barpali Basti for many years. His father died of illness a few months ago. He took admission in college after passing 12th. After the accident, the family members are crying inconsolably.
