The incident is of village Kanharpuri near Sankardahra. In this incident, Kanharpuri resident Ashok Lenjhare (50 years old) has been badly burnt. At the same time, his wife Usha Lenjhare (47 years old) is also injured. Both have been referred from Community Health Center Dongargaon to Medical Hospital. There is also news that before burning Ashok Lenjhare by pouring petrol on him, some unknown people even beat him up. Due to which he has severe injury marks on his head and other parts. Seeing the fight, his wife Usha Lenjhare was trying to intervene, when some unknown people poured petrol on him and set him on fire, in which Ashok Lenjhare and his wife Usha also got burnt. However, Usha’s condition is said to be normal. Ashok’s condition is critical. It has been reported that he has suffered more than 70 percent burns.
