CG NEWS: 5 lakhs stolen from an empty house, dog squad was called

Korba korba news. An incident of theft has come to light in Power City Colony under Darri Police Station. Thieves have targeted an empty house. Unknown thieves broke the latch of the house in the dark of the night and entered inside and stole jewellery worth lakhs along with cash. Police reached the spot and started investigating.

korba news It is being told that the house belongs to Nathu Lal Yadav. Where Amitesh Rathore lives with his family on rent for the last seven years. Due to ill health, he went to Korba with his family for treatment. Due to heavy rain at night, they all stayed in Korba. Then when they reached home in the morning, they saw that the lock of the house was broken and all the stuff inside was scattered. This information was immediately given to Darri police station. After which the police reached the spot and started investigating. Dog squad has also been called to the spot to trace the thieves.

According to the information received, the thieves have stolen cash worth Rs 1.5 lakh and gold and silver jewellery from the cupboard of the house. The total amount of cash and jewellery stolen is said to be around Rs 5 lakh. The thieves have committed the crime despite tight security in the colony. The colony’s caretaker Kamlesh Kumar Saroj said that guards have also been deployed for security purposes who constantly keep a watch on the surroundings.
