CG: Fraud of lakhs on the pretext of getting a job in AIIMS, FIR registered
Raipur. Amanaka police has registered a case against a young man who extorted Rs 3.37 lakh from a woman in the name of getting her a job as a nurse in AIIMS. According to the police, Bhatgaon resident Durgeshwari Sahu had met RDA Colony Sarona resident Ritaeshwar Bhumkar on Facebook. And during the growing friendship, the woman talked about getting her a job. Riteshwar assured that he knew her in AIIMS and would get her a job as a staff nurse and also told the AIIMS management that Durgeshwari had to spend money for the transaction. The woman also agreed to bear the expenses and Riteshwar deposited a total of Rs 3.37 lakh in the accounts mentioned by him on different days between 29-3 to 26-7-24. And when she did not get a job till now, Durgeshwari asked for her money back. He was not returning that either. On this, the woman lodged a case under section 318 in the police station last night. The man is absconding.
