CG colony submerged, women protested on the road

Korba: People of Korba’s Pragatinagar Colony protested against SECL by coming out on the road. The colony was flooded due to 4 days of rain, SECL employees raised slogans against the management.

Women started protesting by sitting on the road. People allege that similar situation has been there for the last several years, but the management is not serious about solving the problem. Actually, due to heavy rains, a flood-like situation was created in SECL’s Pragatinagar Colony located in Dipka area.

Due to lack of water drainage system, people were imprisoned in their homes. Due to lack of concrete arrangement for water drainage from the colony, people got angry on Friday and came out on the road and started raising slogans against the management.
