CG BREAKING: Husband and wife were on duty, thieves arrested after finding the house empty

Dhamtari news. Police has arrested the accused in the theft case in Hinchapur Sankara. According to the police, Nageshwar Devdas father Uday Devdas resident Hinchapur Sankara lodged a report in the police station that on 18.07.2024, he locked the house and went to the Forest Department Nagari for duty and his wife Manisha Devdas went to the Pre Madhyamik Shala Devpur for duty. When he returned home at around 05:00 pm, he saw that the items kept in the house were scattered and the latch of the door leading to the body was broken and the locker of the cupboard kept in the room inside the house was broken and some unknown thief stole the gold and silver jewellery and cash kept inside the locker. On this report, crime number 87/2024 was registered in Sihawa police station under sections 331 (3), 305 (A), 3 (5) BNSS and investigation was taken up. chhattisgarh

chhattisgarh news During the investigation, on the basis of technical evidence and informer information, a joint team of H&F staff and cyber cell reached Nagri and detained the suspects and questioned them. On their acceptance of being involved in the crime, on the basis of the memorandum statement of the accused, gold and silver jewellery worth Rs. 75000/- and 01 used motor cycle worth about Rs. 30000/- and 02 mobile phones of Vivo company and Realme company worth Rs. 9000/-, total Rs. 114000/- were seized from the possession of the accused. The accused were found guilty under Section 331 (3), 305 (A), 3(5) BNSS and have been duly arrested and sent on judicial remand.
