CG: Absconding accused arrested in permanent warrant case

Jashpur. Police arrested the absconding accused in the permanent warrant case of theft. According to the police, Ramanand alias Tatu Kunkuri, accused in three cases of theft under Kunkuri police station area, was absconding for a long time, against whom the court has issued three permanent warrants in three different cases, he was being continuously traced by the police. Meanwhile, the police received information from an informer that the said permanent warrantee Ramanand alias Tatu is hiding in Sukh Basu Para of Kunkuri, on which the Kunkuri police team immediately went to Sukh Basu Para and laid a siege to catch the absconding accused permanent warrantee Ramanand.

On seeing the police, the permanent warrantee Ramanand was trying to escape by jumping over the wall, who was chased by the police team and caught after a lot of effort. The absconding permanent warrantee Ramanand alias Tatu has been produced in the court on permanent arrest warrant in three cases of theft, including one case under IPC 458,380 and two cases under IPC 379,34. In this case, Senior Superintendent of Police Jashpur Shashi Mohan Singh said that a special team has been formed in all the police stations for serving permanent warrants, in this connection a permanent warrantee has been arrested by Kunkuri police, the campaign for serving permanent warrants will continue.
