Central forensic team engaged in investigation of Baddi fire incident

Baddi. The team of Central Forensic Science Lab, Chandigarh has started investigation to investigate the cause of the massive fire that broke out in the perfume manufacturing industry. In this connection, Jharmajri reached on Tuesday and collected necessary evidence from the incident spot. CFSL collected many samples during this period and also obtained some important information from NDRF and SIT during the investigation. Forensic experts investigated inside and outside the factory for about five hours and collected samples. Apart from this, the police district administration has also intensified the investigation and has taken separate samples from the incident spot. Police officers under the leadership of SP Baddi have also searched the warehouse of the company and along with the officials of the State Tax and Excise Department, have taken the investigation forward. The police is taking the investigation forward keeping in mind every aspect of this fire incident. Let us tell you that five workers have died in this accident, out of which one has not been identified, while five workers are still missing.

29 workers have been injured in this accident, who are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. According to the information, experts from Central Forensic Science Lab, Chandigarh arrived at the spot on Tuesday morning and investigated the cause of the massive fire. Forensic experts have collected dozens of samples from inside and outside the factory including the store area for investigation. During this, the experts obtained information about the chemicals being used including the drums used for storing the chemicals. On Tuesday, SP Baddi Ilma Afroz along with Excise Department officials took stock of the spot and investigated the cause of the fire and other aspects. Let us tell you that the police has registered a case of culpable homicide and negligence against the management of NA Aroma Company. So far two people have been arrested in this case while three managers Nilesh Patel, Siddharth Patel and Milan Patel are absconding.
