Case registered against Kerala man for comments on PM Modi on social media

Kannur: A case has been booked in Kerala against a person who commented on social media calling Prime Minister Modi an anti-national. He was arrested in Srikandapuram. The police have registered a case against Rajan C. Kothur, a resident of Kothur. The case was registered based on a complaint filed by a BJP worker. However, according to the FIR, the accused made a post on Facebook on March 3. In it, he accused Prime Minister Modi of being an anti-national. The FIR states that the accused made provocative comments against Prime Minister Modi on the pretext of riots. The case has been registered under Section 192 of the Indian Penal Code. A case has also been registered under Section 120(0) of the Kerala Police Act. The police said that they will conduct an investigation on Friday after receiving the complaint.
