Case filed against cartoonist in Indore for making ‘objectionable cartoon against RSS’ on social media
Madhya Pradesh : A cartoonist was booked on Wednesday for allegedly sharing objectionable cartoons against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on social media platforms. The case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and further investigation is underway.
According to Lasudiya police, High Court advocate Vinay Joshi, a resident of Sudama Nagar area, lodged a complaint that he was at the ISKCON temple in Nipania area when he noticed a social media ID of a person named Hemant Malviya on his mobile phone.
He saw some pictures on Malviya’s timeline, which he alleged were deliberately shared to incite people against the RSS. He said there were objectionable and indecent cartoons of PM Narendra Modi and the RSS. He further claimed that derogatory comments were also made against his idol Lord Shiva.
