Caretaker’s death case, police waiting for PM report

Rajnandgaon. The family members created a ruckus in the case of the death of caretaker Satyaprakash Srivastava by drowning in the swimming pool of Hotel Bliss International, located at some distance from Somni police station of the district. On Saturday, the family members placed the dead body on GE Road in front of Somni Hospital and blocked it.

Traffic on Durg-Rajnandgaon highway was affected for about 2 hours due to traffic jam. There were long lines of vehicles on both sides here. The police arrived and explained to the family members and people, and also assured proper investigation and action in the matter, only then the blockade was ended. The family members have accused Satyaprakash of murder. He said that Satyaprakash did not know how to swim, then why did the hotel management put him on duty as a trainer in a 4 feet deep swimming pool. Here the police handed over the body to the family members after postmortem.

Somni police station in-charge Krishna Patle said that the exact cause of death will be revealed only after the postmortem report comes. Only after that further action will be taken. Police say that Satyaprakash could have died due to heart attack or epilepsy. Even the doctors have not told anything yet. Injuries were found at many places on his body and face.
