Car caught fire due to collision with DCM in Jhansi, 4 including groom burnt to death

Jhansi. DCM hit a car from behind late night near Parichha Thermal Power Plant. Due to this, the CNG tank in the car burst and the car burst into flames. Due to this incident, 4 people including the groom in the car were burnt alive.

The marriage of Akash Ahirwar (25), resident of Bilati Karke of Erich police station area, was fixed in Baratha village under Baragaon police station area. His wedding procession was to take place on Friday. Akash was going to Baragaon Varatha in a car (UP 93 AS 2396) with his brother Ashish, nephew four-year-old Mayank, car driver Jai Karan alias Bhagat along with two other friends Ravi Ahirwar and Ramesh in a wedding procession. The car was running on CNG.

DCM hit
At around 12 o’clock in the night, as his car reached near Parichha Thermal Power Plant in Baragaon, a DCM vehicle (UP 55 AT 6965) coming from behind hit the car. When the car was hit from behind, the CNG tank burst and caught fire. By the time the police could control the fire, the groom Akash, his brother Ashish, nephew Mayank and driver Jai Karan in the car had died.
