Bulldozer started on illegal occupation
Takhatpur. As soon as the government changed in the state of Chhattisgarh, the bulldozer of the administration has gained momentum. In this action, the administration is taking swift action against the encroachers and is running bulldozers. Even though the encroachers were seen showing their displeasure and arrogance during this action, they did not make any headway in front of the administration. The residents of Takhatpur are heaving a sigh of relief from this action. This entire matter is of Takhatpur city area of Bilaspur district.
Where recently Joint Collector Vaibhav Kshetragya, who was holding the command of SDM, took action and drove the administration’s bulldozer on the road of Takhatpur town on Mungeli Bilaspur main state road. For a long time, houses and shops located on the main road of Takhatpur were being illegally encroached upon and this trend was showing no sign of stopping, whereas 40-40 feet of road is reserved on both sides of the divider of this road. But despite this, the traders and landlords of the city were carrying out encroachment by gradually shifting their shop parts towards the road.
With the change in the state government, the administration has also changed its stand and today carried out non-stop bulldozing operation from Takhatpur Mandi Chowk to Sangam Nagar old bus stand via Bajrang Nagar till new bus stand. Not only this, Joint Collector Vaibhav Kshetragya has also advised not to encroach on government land again, otherwise legal action will also be taken. In view of the security and law and order, Trainee DSP Gaurav Singh remained alert along with the police officers and soldiers. The Revenue Department, Municipality and Police were seen on the field jointly taking action.
