Bulldozer runs on scrap shop, action taken on instructions of Corporation Commissioner

Bilaspur. Near the old bus stand in Bilaspur, the Municipal Corporation used bulldozers to demolish three of its shops. All three buildings were dilapidated, in which a junk shop was being operated by illegal encroachment. It is being told that the junk shop here was running under the protection of the police for a long time. The Corporation Commissioner says that the dilapidated building has been demolished in view of the possibility of loss of life.

Actually, three shops were built years ago on the corporation land near the old bus stand. A dispute had arisen regarding this land, after which the construction of the shop was incomplete. Amidst the incomplete construction for about 20 years, scrap shop operator Anil Pandey had taken illegal possession of it and had also built a hut where the scrap shop was operating. The condition of the old building had become dilapidated. Corporation Commissioner Amit Kumar had instructed the building branch to submit the report of the three shops. After the report of the Building Branch, the Corporation Commissioner decided to demolish these buildings.

The Municipal Corporation demolished three of its buildings by using bulldozers. Corporation Commissioner Amit Kumar said that the buildings were dilapidated, due to which there was a possibility of loss of life, due to which this action has been taken.
