BTC administration takes steps for development of BTR athletes, says Pramod Boro

Chirang: The final match of the 25th Jouhoulao Soumbla Basumatari Assam Club Football Championship was held at Bangaldoba Bodosa Naugaur in Chirang on Sunday. The final match was played between Barhungkha Athletic Club of Kokrajhar district and Hluating United Football Club of Shibsagar district 2-1. The final match was inaugurated by BTC chief Pramod Boro.

The BTC administration has taken steps to take the football players of BTR region to the national level. BTC chief Pramod Boro today announced financial assistance of Rs 15 lakh to Jauhoulao Soumbla Basumatari Assam Club Football Championship Management Committee. The tournament was held from 3 January and a total of 37 football clubs from Assam participated in the tournament.

The final match was inaugurated by Rajya Sabha MP Rangoura Narzary, MLA Jayant Basumatary, Executive Member Ranjit Basumatary, Assam Football Association General Secretary Dr. Sangarang Brahma, ABSU Central General Secretary Khanindra Basumatary and many others.
