Thoguta: BRS Mandal President Jeedipally Ram Reddy stated that religious harmony holds a high place in Indian culture, like unity in diversity. An Iftar Party was organized for Muslim brothers in Venkatraopet in the Mandal to celebrate the festival of Ramadan.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that society can develop only when the minds of people of different religions are united, and that the sound of bells in temples, the sound of prayers in mosques, and the ringing of church bells are all voices that reflect the soul of our country and call for unity. He said that Iftar is not just a break from fasting, but is a symbol of tolerance, forgiveness, charity, and love.

Telangana’s first Chief Minister KCR was praised for his efforts towards religious harmony in Telangana. Leaders Bandaru Swamy Goud, Puligaari Shivayya, ward members Jahangir, Pitla Venkatesh, Midde Srinivas, Engali Narender, Vadde Narsimhulu, Puligaari Narsimhulu, Jeedipally Govardhan Reddy, Pitla Venkatayya, Edugalla Parasharamulu, Sutari Ramulu, Kanaka Raju, Pathkula Balesh, Naveen, Lakshman, Chandram, Shadul, Nazim, Azam, Swami, Nagayya, Balachandram and others participated in the program.
