Brijbai is using the money for household chores and expenses.

Raipur. The state government’s flagship Mahtari Vandan Yojana is bringing about positive changes in the lives of women. Under this scheme, women are being provided with financial assistance of ₹1,000 per month, enabling them to meet their daily needs and become self-reliant.

Brij Bai Sahu, a resident of Sakri village in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district, said that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, she has so far received a total of ₹22,000 in 22 installments directly into her bank account. She is using this amount to meet her daily needs, including vegetables, groceries, and other household expenses, which has improved her family’s financial situation. Brij Bai Sahu said that the work being done by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to empower women and make them financially independent is highly commendable. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for this scheme.

It is noteworthy that the state government has so far released 22 installments under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Recently, on December 3, 2025, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai transferred the 22nd installment to the accounts of women from Mohla-Manpur district. Brij Bai expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister.
