‘BRICS Garden’ inaugurated at the conclusion of BRICS Agriculture Conference, delegates planted fruit trees

Madhya Pradesh: The message of environmental protection and green development also came forward prominently at the concluding ceremony of the BRICS Agriculture Conference. On the last day of the conference on Saturday, representatives of the member countries reiterated their commitment towards sustainable development by planting fruit trees in the recently developed ‘BRICS Garden’ in Meghdoot Park.
The event took place in the city where the BRICS Agriculture Summit was held. During the program, the delegates not only discussed topics like agricultural cooperation and food security, but also gave concrete messages towards environmental protection and a green future. The closing ceremony featured the ‘BRICS Garden’ as a special attraction, which has been developed as a symbol of international cooperation and environmental balance.
A total of 51 fruit trees have been planted in this garden prepared in a special part of Meghdoot Park. This green area represents a collective effort towards environmental protection. On this occasion, representatives of BRICS countries themselves planted 21 fruit trees and took active participation in this initiative.
The delegates said that each tree planted is not only a symbol of environmental protection, but also reflects the shared goal of international cooperation and sustainable development. Through this initiative, the message was given that agricultural development and environmental balance are linked to each other and it is necessary to maintain a balance between the two.
There are plans to develop ‘BRICS Vatika’ as a green memorial in the future, where more saplings can be planted in the future. This place will not only promote environmental awareness but also provide an opportunity to people to connect with nature.
The officials and delegates present during the program appreciated the initiative and said that such efforts play an important role in raising awareness about environmental protection at the global level. He also said that such small but effective steps are extremely important in times of climate change and environmental challenges.
