Boy killed, 2 injured in Kargil shell blast

Srinagar (IANS) | A boy was killed and two others injured when an old shell exploded in Ladakh’s Kargil district on Sunday. Police denied any explosion near the airport. According to the police, the shell exploded in a field after noon. A police officer said, “A boy has died and two others have been injured in the incident. It exploded in a field far away from the airport. Reports of an explosion near the airport are incorrect.”
