Bought the farmer’s land but did not pay Rs 20 lakh, FIR lodged against land mafia and broker

The farmer lost his entire agricultural land after getting caught in the clutches of land mafia and broker. According to the victim, the accused broker and Syed Safdar Hussain brought him to Loro in a car on 26 September 2023 and made him sit in a dhaba and fed him chicken rice.

When the Kunkuri police did not take action, Collector Dr Ravi Mittal ordered the Sub-Divisional Officer of Kunkuri to investigate the matter. In this investigation, after the complaint of the victim farmer Budhan Ram was confirmed, on the complaint of the Tehsildar of Kunkuri, Kunkuri Police has registered a crime against the accused Syed Safdar Hussain and Jagmohan Ram under sections 420 and 34.
