‘Border 2’ attacks the box office.. A grand entry into the Rs. 300 crore club

The sequel to the classic war drama ‘Border’ in Bollywood, ‘Border 2’ is continuing its triumphant run at the box office. Starring Sunny Deol in the lead role and directed by Anurag Singh, this period war drama is impressing the audience immensely. The film has entered the prestigious Rs 300 crore club in India after collecting around Rs 24.22 crore nett on its second Sunday alone. According to the latest figures, the film’s total nationwide nett collection has reached Rs 301.89 crore. However, trade analysts believe that the real test will begin now. With the collections likely to decline from Monday after the weekend hype, it will be interesting to see how well the film will perform in the long run. However, achieving this level of collection in the first two weeks itself clearly shows the craze for ‘Border 2’.

Meanwhile, the makers made another key announcement in the midst of the success of this film. They also surprised the fans by officially announcing ‘Border 3’. Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa and others were revealed to be playing key roles in this huge project, which is being jointly produced by T-Series Films and JP Films. This has increased the interest of the audience in the ‘Border’ franchise. Overall, ‘Border 2’, which came with a patriotic storyline, is proving its worth at the box office and creating a series of records.
