Body of missing 11th class student found in well, people came out on the road

Latehar: The body of 11th class student Kumari, who was missing for three days in Chandwa police station area of ​​Latehar district of Jharkhand, was found in a well on Monday, creating a sensation in the area. The family of the student and the local people came out on the road regarding the incident. They say that the student was murdered and her body was thrown in the well. They are demanding the arrest of the killers after finding them.

The angry people blocked the Chandwa-Chatra main road by placing the body of the student and started shouting slogans against the police-administration. A long queue of vehicles was formed on both sides of the road. After about two hours, the local police and administration officials convinced the angry people by assuring quick action in this matter. After the intervention of Chandwa’s Circle Officer Jaishankar Pathak and police station in-charge Randhir Kumar, the people removed the blockade. The police have sent the body to Latehar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

Police station in-charge Randhir Kumar said that investigation will be done on every point. Whoever is behind the crime will be arrested as soon as possible. According to the family and local people, the student was missing since November 29. The family members had informed the police station and demanded action. They say that if the police had taken immediate action, she would have been alive.
The student’s father Umesh Sahu, a resident of Demtola village in Chandwa, has suspected that the body was thrown into the well after her murder. On Monday morning, a person near the village saw the body floating in the well and informed the villagers about it. After this, the local people together took out the body from the well, and it was identified as Tannu Kumari. The student’s family is in a bad state, crying.
