BJP leader shot in forest, mysterious incident

Mohla-Manpur. A regional BJP worker was injured after being shot in an alleged Naxal attack in Khadgaon area of Mohla-Manpur district. The police have expressed apprehension regarding the incident. The whole matter has become mysterious. MMC district SP Ratna Singh is herself monitoring the case. Police is collecting facts related to the incident. After this the clear reason for the incident will emerge.

According to the information, after receiving the news of Sakunram Salame, a resident of Bodra of Khadgaon police station area, being shot, the villagers saw him in an unconscious state from the forest. After this the matter was reported. With the help of villagers, the injured BJP leader was brought to Manpur Hospital, from where he was referred to Rajnandgaon Medical College. The condition of the injured BJP leader is currently stable. He is also capable of speaking. It is being told that the injured villager is associated with BJP. That is why the police, understanding the sensitivity of the matter, is keeping an eye on every situation. Reportedly, due to the news of firing by Naxalites, everyone from IG Deepak Jha to top officials have started investigating the matter.
