BJP Leader Rams Car Into People Near Bonfire, 2 Dead in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: A BJP leader’s car rammed into a crowd sitting in front of a bonfire. They were thrown into the air. An elderly man and a boy died in the accident. Some others were injured. (BJP Leader Rams Car Into People) The incident took place in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh. Some people had lit a bonfire in front of a house near the Porsa-Jotai Road Bypass intersection in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, BJP Porsa Youth Rural Unit Vice President Deependra Bhadauria drove a car very fast. He rammed the car into the crowd sitting around the bonfire. This sent some people flying into the air. The seriously injured were taken to the government hospital in Gwalior. 65-year-old Ram Dutt Rathod and 10-year-old Arnav Lakshak died while undergoing treatment. Three other injured are undergoing treatment.
On the other hand, BJP leader Deependra Bhadauria, who was driving a car under the influence of alcohol and rammed into a crowd, was caught by locals. He was beaten up and handed over to the police. However, Deependra escaped from police custody and fled.
The people were angry with this. They accused the police of evading him. They protested by blocking the Porsa-Jotai road. They demanded the arrest of the accused. In this context, senior police officials reached the spot. They assured that Deependra would be arrested. A police officer revealed that a case has been registered against him and an investigation is underway.
