BJP is scared of DMK alliance: Thirumavalavan interview

Tamil Nadu : Liberation Tigers of Tamil Nadu leader Thol Thirumavalavan said the BJP was scared of the DMK alliance.
He arrived in Trichy on Wednesday to participate in various programmes organised in Karur and said:
BJP state president Naina Nagendran has said that the opposition parties should come forward unitedly. She has since admitted that while the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance is strong, the opposition parties are not united yet and the BJP-AIADMK alliance is moving in the same direction.
Manonmaniam Sundaranar: The question paper has been released even before the university examination, which shows irregularities in the university administration or weakness of the administration. The question papers should be changed and the exam should be announced on some other date.
It is welcome that the Tamil Nadu School Education Department has sent notices to schools in Tamil Nadu that have not achieved 100% pass rate, seeking clarifications. Teachers should cooperate with the initiatives taken by the minister based on the idea that all schools should achieve 100% pass rate.
I am happy that the DMK alliance has given Maniima leader Kamal Haasan a chance as a Rajya Sabha candidate. I welcome the court’s conviction of Gyanasekaran in the sexual harassment case of an Anna University student. However, it is surprising that opposition parties are expressing their views against the ruling party. The investigation in this case has been done in a normal way. If there is suspicion of involvement of more people in the sexual harassment case, a case can be registered. A CBI inquiry can be demanded.
Tamil scholars and linguists like Devanaya Bhavan have confirmed that Tamil is the mother of Dravidian languages. Kannada and Malayalam speakers may hesitate to accept this fact. But it is true, he said.
