Jaipur: A shocking incident that shakes the conscience of humanity has emerged from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. A father allegedly strangled his newborn daughter to death at a government hospital here. It is alleged that the infant was the family’s third daughter, and the father took this horrific step out of anger over this fact. The incident caused a stir within the hospital premises; the police have taken the accused into custody and initiated an investigation.
According to preliminary information, the woman had given birth to a baby girl at the hospital. Family members were present, and the newborn was receiving care. During this time, the accused father made an excuse—claiming he wanted to feed the baby or take her outside—and took her out of the ward.
Allegation of murder after taking the baby out of the ward
According to the police, after taking the infant out of the ward, the accused allegedly strangled her. When he did not return with the baby after some time, family members and hospital staff grew suspicious. A search revealed the infant in critical condition. She was immediately rushed to the doctors, but they declared her dead.
