Bike riding miscreants shot dead the teenager

Prayagraj (IANS) | The attackers shot dead a 19-year-old youth named Adil Ali in Rajapur Uchhwagari of Cantt police station area. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Deepak Bhukar told reporters that the police received information about the incident at 11.30 pm. Senior police officers reached the spot on Saturday. He said that Adil was shot dead by three of his acquaintances over an old dispute.

Five different police teams have been formed to solve the mystery of the case.

An FIR has been registered in this regard under section 302 of the IPC.

According to the police, the incident took place when Adil was standing near a paan shop and three bike-borne assailants came towards him and shot him in the head.

Initial police investigation revealed that there was a dispute over selling smack in the area. No arrest has been made so far.
