Bike rider dies on the spot after being hit by a truck

According to the information, on Sunday night, the truck was coming from Jagdalpur towards Geedam, while the bike rider was going from Geedam to Jagdalpur. Meanwhile, both the vehicles collided near ITI in Jawanga Education City. The accident was so severe that the bike rider was thrown far away. He suffered serious injuries.

At the same time, people passing through that route informed the police and ambulance about this. The youth was being taken to the hospital in an injured condition, but he died on the way. Geedam police station in-charge Dhananjay Sinha said that the deceased youth has been identified as Gagan Sarkar. He was a resident of Geedam. The truck has been seized, the driver is absconding.
