Bijapur Collector Pandey offered prayers at the historical Kodai Mata temple

Bijapur. Collector Anurag Pandey prayed to Mother Goddess at the famous historical Kodai Mata temple located in Jaitalur and wished happiness and prosperity for all the citizens of the district. Jaitalur Sarpanch, Patel and priests gave detailed information to Collector Pandey about the history of the temple, customs, traditions etc. In which information was given about the organization of a three-day fair before Paush Purnima, the origin of Kodai Mata, the importance of the fair and temple, various customs including a swing full of thorns.

Collector Pandey took blessings after seeing Kodai Mata, Shringar Gudi and Gamay Mata. During this, the Collector also talked about doing Shramdaan including cleaning and painting. The main fair will be held on Tuesday, January 23, in which thousands of villagers will come to see the fair, for which instructions were given to the concerned authorities to make proper arrangements for vehicle parking, security, drinking water etc.

The Collector also held necessary discussions with the village’s Patel, priest, villagers and shopkeepers coming from outside. During this, Joint Collector and SDM Pawan Kumar Premi, in-charge District CEO Geet Kumar Sinha and other officers and employees were present.
