Bihar: Youth dies in harsh firing at wedding ceremony
Biharsharif: Despite the best efforts of the police in Bihar, incidents of harsh firing are not stopping. The latest case is from Sarmera police station area of Nalanda district, where late on Wednesday night, the joy of a wedding turned into mourning when a girl died after being shot in harsh firing. According to the police, it was the marriage of the daughter of Ranjit Singh, resident of Dhanawadih village. The wedding procession had started from Patna and came to Dhanawadih village of Sarmera. It is said that all the formalities regarding the marriage were almost completed. After this, the Samadhi Milan ceremony was going on, when someone started firing in joy.
Meanwhile, a bullet hit Kareena Kumari, who was watching the ceremony, who died on the spot. After this the happiness of the wedding ceremony turned into mourning. The sound of crying started coming everywhere. After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. The family members are being interrogated.
