Bihar Woman Beaten To Death By Neighbors Blamed For Child’s Brain Illness

Bihar: While the world is making progress in the fields of science and technology, on the other hand, superstitions and blind beliefs are increasing in the country. The latest incident in Bihar is proof of this. A woman was brutally beaten to death on the pretext that she was practicing black magic and spells. Moreover, two other women were also attacked. The deceased has been identified as Kiran Devi (35). This incident took place in Nawada district of Bihar.

According to the police and the victim’s family members, Mukesh Chaudhary, his family members Mahendra Chaudhary, Natru Chaudhary, and Shobha Devi live near Kiran Devi’s house. Recently, Mukesh Chaudhary’s son fell ill. He contracted a brain disease. Mukesh’s family suspected that the boy fell ill because of Kiran Devi’s witchcraft. They have been alleging for some time that Kiran Devi can cast spells and that she performs occult rituals. In this sequence, Mukesh, Mahendra, Natru, and Shobha Devi, who became even more enraged over the boy’s illness, attacked Kiran Devi together. They attacked her indiscriminately with bricks and stones. They also severely attacked Kiran’s in-laws who tried to stop her. All three were seriously injured in the incident.

They were immediately taken to the hospital by locals.. from there for better treatment.. Kiran Devi died. Along with Lalita Devi, another woman is undergoing treatment in the hospital with serious injuries. However, the police said that there is a relationship between the two families.. and there have been differences between them for some time. In this incident, people from both sides attacked.. Police said that five or six people from both sides were injured. The police revealed that a case has been registered and the accused have been taken into custody and an investigation is underway.
