Bihar Scores World Record 574 Runs In 50 Overs In Vijay Hazare Trophy
Ranchi: The Bihar team created a world record today in the Vijay Hazare Trophy ODI match. In a List A match, they scored 574 runs for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated overs against Arunachal Pradesh. This is the highest ODI score in List A matches. In the past, Tamil Nadu scored 506 runs for the loss of 2 wickets against the Arunachal team in 2022. Now the Bihar team has surpassed that score.
Three centuries were recorded in the Bihar innings. Opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi was a thunderbolt. He scored 190 runs in just 84 balls. There were 15 sixes and 16 fours in it. Vaibhav, who played aggressively from the start, completed his century in just 36 balls. However, he narrowly missed a double century. The middle-order batters continued the momentum given by Vaibhav.
Ayush Loharuka and Shakibul Ghani also made waves with centuries in the team. Ayush scored 116 runs in 56 balls with 8 sixes and 11 fours. Shakibul Ghani, who remained unbeaten, also performed like Vaibhav. He impressed with his huge strokes. Shakibul scored 128 runs in 40 balls with 12 sixes and 10 fours and remained unbeaten.
