‘Bigg Boss 15’ star Jay Bhanushali returns to fiction after 11 years

Mumbai (IANS)| Popular TV actor Jay Bhanushali is returning to the fiction genre after a gap of 11 years with the television show ‘Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum’. Talking about being a part of the show, Jay said, “It is the perfect way to get me back on the small screen after 11 years. The show is progressive with an engaging storyline. Also, I am very excited to explore my romantic side on screen.

The 38-year-old actor is known for his roles in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, ‘Qayamat’ and his last fictional show was ‘Carrie: Rishta Khatta Meetha’.

Later he also appeared in reality shows like ‘Nach Baliye 5’, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 7’ and ‘Bigg Boss 15’.

Talking about his character Shivendra in his new project, Jai said: My character Shivendra is a kind hearted person who is very determined and focused on his life as well as professional goals.

He loves people who have a modern outlook towards life and thus falls in love with Surili, from where the story of ‘Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum’ begins. I am sure many people will like Shivendra.

Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum is the story of Shivendra Barot, the eldest son of the Barot family, who has to carry forward the royal lineage. Shivendra falls in love with Surili (Tina Dutta) and her mother Damayanti (Kitu Gidwani) tries to convince him that he is not perfect for her as he belongs to a royal family.

Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum will premiere on 10th April on Sony Entertainment Television.
