Big update in police-Naxalite encounter, bodies of 7 Naxalite recovered
Narayanpur. A fierce encounter is going on between the soldiers with Battalion No. 5 of the Maoist organization in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh. It is being told that the forces of Narayanpur, Bijapur and Dantewada have surrounded the Naxalites and heavy firing is going on from both the sides. Till now bodies of 7 Naxalites have been recovered. Actually, Abujhmad of Narayanpur district is the border area of Orchha Bijapur district and the police was continuously getting information about the presence of Naxalites here, after which on Thursday morning the forces of all three districts including ITBP, STF, DRG and Bastar battalion personnel conducted a joint operation. The Naxalites’ hideout was raided and the encounter between the soldiers and the Naxalites is going on continuously for the last 2 hours.
05 automatic weapons have also been recovered from the spot. Narayanpur SP Prabhat Kumar, Dantewada SP Gaurav Roy and Bastar SP Shalabh Kumar Sinha are in touch with the soldiers. The number of Naxalites killed may increase further. Even in the scorching heat and scorching heat, soldiers are continuously raiding the hideouts of Naxalites as part of the anti-Naxal operation. The area where the encounter took place between police and Naxalites in the early morning on Thursday (May 23) is a heavily Naxal affected area, and the force has reached here for the first time.
As soon as the police got concrete information about the presence of Naxalites in this area, an operation was launched in the early hours of Thursday morning and a joint team of soldiers was sent to this area. The soldiers have come face to face with the Naxalites and the encounter is going on from both the sides. Narayanpur SP Prabhat Kumar said that information has been received from the soldiers that Naxalites had made their temporary camp here. The presence of 50 to 60 Naxalites was seen here, after which the soldiers opened fire on the Naxalites, the SP claims that many Naxalites have been shot in this encounter, there is news of one Naxalite being killed in the encounter, but This will be confirmed only after the soldiers return, at present the soldiers have surrounded the Naxalites from all sides, and the encounter is going on continuously.
