Big political upheaval in Tamil Nadu, many former AIADMK and DMK leaders join Thaveka

Tamil Nadu Tamil Nadu: A big change was seen in the politics of Tamil Nadu on Saturday, when former AIADMK minister M.C. Sampath, Kadampur Raju, Udumalai Radhakrishnan and M.R. Shivapathy joined Thaveka (Tamil Nadu Vetrikazhagam) with his supporters. Along with these, two former DMK MLAs also joined the party, due to which the political turmoil in the state has intensified.
This program of joining the party was organized in Thavegaville, in which many former MLAs, former MPs and party officials were present. On this occasion, General Secretary and Minister of Tamil Nadu Victory Party N. Anand was also present.
According to the information, after this political development, many more senior leaders have also joined Thaveka. These include former Perambalur MP A. Ilavarasan, former AIADMK MLAs Sundarraj, Rajamuthu, Manraj, Rajavarman Panneerselvam, M. Murugan and N. Names like Shiva are included. Whereas former DMK MLAs P. Kamaraj and M.S. Shanmugam also entered the party.
Talking about political background, it is being told that in Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, TDP had won 108 seats and AIADMK had won 47 seats. Subsequently, internal differences within the AIADMK came to the fore during the trust vote brought by the TDP government in the Assembly. S.P., who opposed Edappadi Palaniswami. Velumani and C.V. More than 20 MLAs from the Shanmugam faction had voted in favor of the TDP government, helping it get majority.
After this the political developments became more intense, when S.P. Four MLAs from the Velumani faction had decided to resign from their posts and join Thaveka. The leaders who joined Thaveka said that they have joined it after being impressed by the new direction and leadership of the party. He says that this step has been taken with the aim of creating a new alternative in the politics of the state.
