Big action by DGP in Kanabha ASI murder case, departmental inquiry will be conducted against 15 policemen

Kanabha: After the attack by liquor smugglers on Kanabha police, the strict attitude of DGP Vikas Sahay has come to the fore. The State Monitoring Cell has been ordered to conduct a departmental inquiry into 15 policemen who had contacts with liquor smugglers. Evidence has been found that 12 policemen from Ahmedabad and three from Gandhinagar were in contact with liquor smuggler Bhupi.

On the evidence of call details, WhatsApp calls, WhatsApp chats and voice recordings, all were ordered to be transferred by the DGP Development Assistance with immediate effect. DGP Development Assistance has ordered SMC to conduct a thorough investigation against all 15. It is noteworthy that an ASI had died after being hit by a car of illegal liquor smugglers in Kanbha. Now the DGP has taken major action in this matter.
