Bhubaneswar: Sexual exploitation on false pretext of marriage, arrested

Bhubaneswar: A man has been arrested for fake marriage and sexual exploitation in Bhubaneswar, reports said on Friday. The incident has been reported from Lakshmi Sagar police station. Based on the complaint, the police investigated and arrested one accused and sent him to the court. It is noteworthy that the complainant and the accused were in love with each other when they worked together in a parlor in Bhubaneswar. The accused made a false promise of marriage to the complainant. After a few days, when the complainant came to know that the accused was an alcoholic and consumed all kinds of drugs, she tried to distance herself from him.

After this the accused came to the complainant’s house and assaulted him. As soon as the complainant’s mother stopped the accused from coming to her house, the accused also assaulted her. The accused had earlier taken some objectionable photographs of the complainant and had threatened to release all of them on social media. As the complainant requested him not to do so, the accused said he demanded Rs 2 lakh to remove all the objectionable photographs of her. After the complainant paid Rs. After giving Rs 1.5 lakh to the accused, he took him to Hyderabad without deleting any photo. After this, when they stayed in a house, the accused started torturing him.

A few days later, when both of them returned to Bhubaneswar, the mother left the woman at Master Canteen Street and ran away. After the complainant lodged a written complaint at Laxmisagar Police Station, the police investigated the matter and arrested the accused and brought him to the police station.
