Bhubaneswar Sahadev Nayak murder case: House of accused persons demolished by BMC
Bhubaneswar: The house of the accused involved in the murder of ‘police-mitra’ Sahadeva Nayak in Bhubaneswar was demolished today. The house of the main accused Rama Nayak was demolished by BMC.
As per reports, the house in the Kedarpalli slum of Bhubaneswar has been demolished. The demolition work was executed with JCB in the presence of the police.
It is worth noting that Sahadeva Nayak of Kedarpalli Basti is the president of the BMC Sanitation Employees’ Association. He was attacked with a sword by some miscreants on the Rasulgarh overbridge of the national highway in January 2025. As a result, his head was severed from his body.
Taking disciplinary action in this matter, the houses of all the accused involved in this heinous murder incident have been demolished by BMC and Commissionerate Police.
