Bhubaneswar Awareness rally held on World AIDS Day

Bhubaneswar: Odisha celebrated World AIDS Day on Monday. A public awareness rally was held, along with several programs organized across the state to raise awareness and prevent the disease.

Speaking on the occasion, Health and Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling appealed to everyone to increase awareness. He said, “To control this disease, it is important to spread maximum public awareness and ensure that affected patients receive the necessary treatment without any discrimination or stigma.”

The rally was held from Capital Hospital to Shishu Bhavan Square. Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra, Malkangiri MLA Narsingh Madkami, Nabarangpur MLA Gauri Shankar Majhi, Kantabanji MLA Laxman Bag, Department Secretary Neelkanth Mishra, Health Department and OSACS officials, as well as youth, students, and community members participated in the rally.
