Bhopal: Woman booked for creating ruckus after road accident

Madhya Pradesh: Chola Mandir police on Sunday filed a case against a woman for obstructing government work and creating a ruckus. The woman claimed to be a media person. The incident occurred late Friday night at Bhanpur Crossing, where police were investigating a road accident. According to police, a speeding truck hit a motorcycle from behind, killing 26-year-old Aman Sahu of Jatkhedi on the spot. The impact was so severe that the victim’s body was trapped under the truck’s tires.

As police began removing the body with a crane, a woman, later identified as Aarti Rajak, arrived on the scene on a scooter and began filming. Police allege that she attempted to approach the body, argued with officers, shouted anti-police slogans, and incited the crowd. She claimed to be a journalist with a well-known media group, but failed to produce any identification when asked.

Police also said she was violating traffic rules by not wearing a helmet. After about an hour of commotion, she left the scene on her scooter.
