Bhopal: Leave your phone at home, play – Abhishek Bachchan’s advice to the youth

Madhya Pradesh: Leave your phones at home. Go out and play any sport you like – kabaddi, football, cricket or anything else. Because sports are great teachers.” A day before National Youth Day, film actor Abhishek Bachchan offered this advice to young people. He urged them to work hard, seek their parents’ blessings, and learn from them. Abhishek was in the city on Sunday. He was the chief guest at the 41st District Conference of the Inner Wheel Club District 304β€”an all-women voluntary service organization. He spent nearly four hours at the event, sitting next to his 96-year-old grandmother (nani), Indira Bhaduri. He offered her dry fruits, held her hand, and chatted with her.

And then there were the club’s female members, jostling to get into the frame with Abhishek while a group of photographers were clicking pictures. There were also autograph seekers, shoving their diaries and papers into his hands.

And when the lensmen didn’t stop while he was speaking, he playfully rebuked them. “Only our family can give the media a tough time,” Junior Bachchan said amid laughter, apparently referring to his mother, Jaya. He was referring to frequent clashes with the paparazzi.
