Bhilai: Coal loaded truck caught fire, driver narrowly escaped

Bhilai news. A truck carrying coal suddenly caught fire. The truck driver was not aware of the fire. As soon as he reached Bafna toll plaza, the CCTV footage there showed the fire. After this, the fire brigade team reached and the fire was extinguished on time. This averted a major mishap.

chhattisgarh news Durg district fire officer Nagendra Kumar Singh said that on the night of June 15, at 2 o’clock, he received a call that a truck near Bafna Toll Plaza Nehru Nagar had caught fire. He immediately sent a team with the fire brigade there. When the team reached, they saw that smoke was coming out of the truck’s trunk.

Fire is coming out from inside the coal. When the firefighters tried to extinguish the fire in the coal kept on the truck, the fire started flaring up. After this, the fire was controlled with great caution with the help of a fire engine. By pouring water on time, the fire was prevented from spreading to the other side of the truck. This averted a major accident. Fortunately, there was no loss of life or property in the accident.
