Benjamin Netanyahu confirms the killing of Hamas’s fourth leader
JERUSALEM: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that Israeli forces were responsible for the killing of Saleh al-Arouri, vice chairman of Hamas’s political bureau, in an airstrike in Lebanon in January. “We have killed the fourth-ranking man of Hamas,” the Israeli Prime Minister said in a video statement on Monday, referring to Arouri, Xinhua news agency reported. “Our forces will also bring the remaining Hamas figures to their doom,” Netanyahu said. He reiterated that Israel would continue attacks on Gaza until achieving “complete victory” over Hamas.
