Bengaluru: Electrician killed, another injured after tree branch falls on him

Karnataka : One person was killed and another injured when a tree branch fell on a two-wheeler on 60 Feet Road near Printo Junction in Koramangala on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Moodla Giriyappa (48) and the injured person has been identified as Ramesh. Both hail from Adugodi and worked as electricians. At around 2.45 pm, Giriyappa and Ramesh were travelling on their two-wheeler on Koramangala 5th Block Road when a tree branch fell on Giriyappa’s head, killing him on the spot. Locals immediately rescued the injured Ramesh and admitted him to a local hospital. A case has been registered against the BBMP based on Ramesh’s complaint and further investigation is underway.
